J & S Franklin Ltd has won two contracts to supply camp cots and mosquito nets for British forces in Afghanistan
J & S Franklin has won an order from the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to supply a further 10,000 camp cots and 20,000 cot mounted mosquito nets for use by troops in Afghanistan.
Franklin manufacture camp cots and mosquito nets in a range of models and sizes to suit most military and humanitarian aid requirements.
This order, which is worth £400,000 GBP, follows on from a previous order from the MoD for 10,000 cots and mosquito nets.
These innovations, in conjunction with the range of tents for accommodation and field hospitals plus camp chairs, all made by Franklin, have done much to improve the living conditions of UK forces on long deployments.
