Sepura TETRA radios have been chosen by the Atlantis Palm, a new $1.5 billion resort in Dubai that boasts over 1,500 rooms and suites.

The sales win follows recent successes in the Middle East at Doha Airport and the Jordan Car Rally, and contract wins at other prestigious hotels in Macau and Australia.

In an order secured through Microhit Technologies LCC in Dubai, Sepura SRH3800 Hand-held and SRG3500 Gateway radios provide secure and reliable communication. Radios operate throughout the hotel campus, including basement levels and lower level corridors, accessing the TETRA system via a network of 1.2km of radiating cable and above ground antennas.

M. P. Chandran, for Microhit, said: "This is a truly prestigious location to mark Sepura's entrance onto the Dubai market. The sales win has been achieved thanks to the outstanding performance of the radios and a first-class Customer Support service."

The hotel's Director of Surveillance and Emergency said: "We've been impressed with the user-friendly qualities of the radios which are helping to make communications in the hotel swift and efficient."

Emanuele Algieri, Sepura's Regional Director, added: "The order is set to provide a springboard to advance the choice of Sepura and TETRA throughout the Middle East."
