naAero t-Bagâ„¢C2 EFB System certified with EASA STC for the Alenia Aermacchi C27-J
navAero announces the issuance of Supplementary Type Certificate (STC) 10048865 by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for installation of the provision for dual t-Bagâ„¢C22 Class 2 Electronic Flight Bag systems on the Alenia Aermacchi C-27J Spartan aircraft.
The STC, executed by SuperJet International, joint venture between Alenia Aermacchi and Sukhoi Holding, in cooperation with navAero, is the first STC for the navAero t-BagC2 Class 2 EFB system for all-military aircraft. The STC system architecture provides for aircraft power connectivity to the EFB CPUs which are deployed with cross-connectivity to allow for data sharing between the two independent systems. The STC also calls for deployment of the widely accepted and robust tï‚ Padâ„¢ 1500 display that provides for outstanding viewing capabilities in all lighting conditions.
