CONTROP Precision Technologies has announced that the company has been chosen to supply 90 advanced SHAPO systems for a NATO army's patrol vehicles during the course of 2016.
SHAPO is an ultra-lightweight gyro-stabilized EO/IR Day/Night Observation system especially designed for flexible EO payload deployment on multi-mission patrol vehicles. The high performance low weight system delivers the benefits of a built-in thermal imaging camera with a continuous zoom lens, advanced image enhancement, automatic target tracker, picture-in-picture and more, all offered in one compact integrated package.
