Chess Dynamics Hawkeye family of electro optics systems on display at thyis year's Eurosatory

Visual images of both hostile and friendly forces at a range that enables a commander to make an informed decision in a timely manner are a key capability of the Chess Dynamics Hawkeye family of electro optics systems on display in Hall 5, stand K700.

The Hawkeye family, developed specifically for land based operations, is designed to integrate with a wide range of associated systems and equipment including remote weapon stations, ground surveillance radar, battlefield management systems and data link networks.

The family features advanced image processing that enables automatic target detection and target tracking, panoramic situational awareness, and video and still image capture complete with the associated meta data.

"We have developed the Hawkeye family following detailed discussions with users. Amongst their key requirements we have built in are comprehensive 24 hour surveillance and target identification," said Graham Beall, Managing Director of Chess Dynamics.

He added, "We have based our design on a common architecture and standard operating procedures backed up by an integrated support philosophy."

The Hawkeye family consists of Hawkeye DS, a deployable system designed to meet covert surveillance applications; Hawkeye VS for vehicle mounted operations and which can be easily integrated with a radar and vehicle sensors as well as be networked into a battlefield management system; Hawkeye FS for fixed installations where it can form part of an integrated and networked surveillance solution; and Hawkeye CS, a rugged, compact EO system designed to meet the surveillance requirements of armoured fighting vehicles.
