Sepura opens office in Dubai
Sepura announces the registration of its offices in Dubai, in the Airport Free Zone Area (DAFZA), whose expansion is due for completion in September this year.
In April 2005 Sepura appointed Nick Massey as regional sales director for the Middle East. Nick, who has been working exclusively in the region in the last four years, has brought to the business a wealth of experience in the management and operation of Digital Trunked Radio Systems. He has built the core of his local team, whose objective is to further drive Sepura's growth in the region.
Nick Massey commented: "Over the last two years Sepura has made a real impact in the Gulf territories. Our policy of investing on the ground in the Middle East has been integral to our growth and success in the region.�
He went on to add: "As further testimony to our commitment to the region, we have developed Arabic interfaces for all our radios.�
Sepura radios are in operation with customers as diverse as Petroleum Development Oman, the Saudi Electricity Company, Saudi Border Guards, Saudi MOI, the Royal Oman Police, Oman Ambulance; Qtel (Qatar's mobile and TETRA operator) and Port Rashid, Dubai - one of the busiest ports in the world.
Sepura has also forged excellent partnerships in the Middle East. Among these are Alpha Data Processing Services, UAE; Nour Communications, Saudi Arabia; Vision Engineering Group, Jordan; Zelda International Services, Oman and the Consolidated Gulf Company, Qatar.
